Intrapreneur of the year
The President of Oni Communications, Xavier Rodriguez-Martin was distinguished in 2008 as Intrapreneur of the year, by Gesventure. This prestigious award was presented at the 8th Venture Capital IT - International Congress of Venture Capital and Entrepreneurship, an event that acknowledges a wide range of national and international specialists in Entrepreneurship, Innovation, Venture Capital and Mutual Guarantee.
Best Company to Work for
 Oni Communications was named one of “Best Large Companies to Work For 2009” and the only telecommunications operator amongst the 25 best companies, in the prestigious ranking "Best Companies to Work For" promoted annually by Exame magazine in collaboration with Heidrick & Struggles consultancy company.
In 2010, Oni Communications re-integrated this ranking and achieved an outstanding 10th position having also received the "Improvement compared to 2009" honorable mention for having registered the largest increase in the ranking. |

Certifications
Quality Certification
 The focus on quality translates into the attainment of the NP EN ISO 9001:2008 Certification by the Operational Management Centre and the Technical Intervention Group.
This standard specifies requisites for a Quality Management System in which an organization needs to demonstrate its ability to, in a consistent and continued fashion, provide quality services that meet customer requisites, with the aim of increasing their satisfaction.
Environmental Certification
 Oni Communications has implemented an Environmental Management System (EMS), applicable to its activities, products and services and aiming to fulfill the requisites stipulated for the ISO 14001 environmental certification, which was attained in 2009 at Oni Communications head office, in Tagus Park. Preparations are underway for attainment of the certification for the entire company, which is expected to be achieved during 2010. |
