GoforOthers

The main objective of the GoforOthers programme is to help people and institutions through solidarity practices involving the company and our employees. Formally launched in June 2009, it systematically seeks to provide continuity to solidarity initiatives started during the previous year.

In 2008, we helped five social institutions - Aldeia de Crianças SOS, AMI, Banco Alimentar, Liga Portuguesa dos Direitos do Animal and SOS Hepatites, through the acquisition of merchandising, donation of material and financial resources and the purchase of their publications to offer customers.

Also in the context of social solidarity, Oni Communications has supported Entrajuda, by organising the internal collection of electric, electronic and computer equipment, new or able to be reused, which were delivered to the "Equipment Bank" for subsequent distribution to Social Solidarity Institutions.

With the start-up of the programme in June, our employees were requested to participate in two initiatives:

• Collection of X-rays, integrating an initiative of the GoforthePlanet  programme with the 14th X-Ray Recycling Campaign of AMI;
• Collection of Clothes to deliver to social solidarity institutions.
