GoforWellness
The GoforWellness programme also includes the labour aspect of Social Responsibility, with the core mission being to develop actions fostering physical and emotional improvement at work and at the same time to contribute to the acquisition of knowledge and adoption of healthy habits.
In 2009, the GoforWellness programme was formally launched, with its own internal site, where four areas of contents are developed on a weekly basis: external events under the programme, habits and behaviour, current themes applicable to daily life and healthy recipes.
Under this programme, several wellbeing initiatives were carried out, namely, anti-smoking screening and a pilot-programme of massage at the workplace, a nutrition workshop followed by screening, so as to assess the main body indices, eating habits and exercise routines of Oni Communications employees. The results will be used to design regular follow-up programmes for cases considered more critical or whose follow-up is recommended.
In early 2009, the first wellness initiative was launched with a recurrent nature, involving the distribution of seasonal fresh fruit to employees. |
